今年も一般開放が始まりました。

しかし物価高騰や違法駐車の増加に伴い、今年で閉園されることになりました。
最後のしょうぶ園を楽しみましょう✨️

一般開放期間:6/1～6/14(9:00～16:00)
入園料:無料

土日のみ臨時駐車場ができます。

かわつ花菖蒲園は川津浄水場の一部を利用して造られた親水緑地公園です。毎年菖蒲の開花時期にあわせて一般開放していただけます。一般開放期間中、開花時期の異なる品種を混生させることで園内の彩りが移り変わり、訪れる度に変化を楽しむことができます。

Kawatsu Iris Park is a water-based green park built using a part of the Kawatsu water purification plant. You can open it to the public every year according to the flowering time of the irises. During the open period, by mixing varieties with different flowering times, the color of the garden changes, and you can enjoy the change every time you visit.

花菖蒲は、約300年前から日本で栽培されている園芸植物です。
花菖蒲の分類は、主に江戸系、肥後系、伊勢系などに大別されますが、何千もの品種が存在します。背丈や花弁の枚数等も品種によって異なります。
